- ➤ Emily and David Miller transformed their family loss into a self-published children's book titled 'Twice as Well' to help others process grief. Published Tuesday, Jan. 6, the book is available for free on YouTube and in print on Amazon — a heartfelt local effort. East Idaho News
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Rexburg local school administrator Randy B. Lords Jr. earned the title of Idaho Superintendent of the Year 2026 for his work improving academics and student well-being at Madison School District 321. He became superintendent in 2021 and was selected as a nominee for the National Superintendent of the Year award. East Idaho News
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Eastern Idaho Public Health reported that an unvaccinated Madison County child contracted measles on a trip (exposed during an outbreak) Tuesday, Jan. 6; the patient was seen at Madison Health’s ER and self-isolated to prevent further spread. East Idaho News
