➤ Idaho lawmakers say Utah's plan to impose an export tax on fuel could raise prices by 25 cents per gallon for local consumers. The joint memorial opposing the tax is set for debate as officials look for a diplomatic solution. Local News 8

➤ BYUI closed SnowFest last Saturday with a basketball game between faculty and students at the John W. Hart gym starting at 6 p.m. Presale tickets were $3, $5 at the door, and the first 300 fans received an exclusive t-shirt while students competed for a tuition scholarship. BYU-Idaho Scroll
