ENVIRONMENT NEWS

➤ Local gardeners in east Idaho are preparing their silty-to-sandy soils for spring by testing and amending them, and can obtain a free soil probe from the local UI Extension (available in multiple locations). Gardeners are advised to start testing in March when soil temperatures exceed 40°F. East Idaho News
