- ➤ BYUI announced on March 19 that single, degree-seeking students aged 26 and older will not be eligible for student-approved housing and will move to community housing in fall semester 2025. Students with current contracts are honored and those turning 26 during a semester can stay until after their birthday—Lauren King, a senior recovering from knee surgery, said she is worried about finding new housing. - ➤ A media shield law to keep reporters’ secret sources safe passed the Legislature with no votes against — the House and Senate all voted yes — and it will go to Governor Little’s desk for final review.
