  • Gideon Tice, an 18-year-old dancer from Rexburg who lost both parents to cancer, has been chosen to join American Footworks Dance Company for a European tour from July 22 to August 18 this summer — he hopes to keep his passion for the arts alive. He faces a $3,500 tour fee while the team must raise about $4,000 for new costumes — community donations are welcomed to support his opportunity.  East Idaho News
  • A full-scale production of Peter Pan will be staged Friday, May 30 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, May 31 at 1 p.m. at the historic Romance Theatre—featuring over 80 dancers from local companies and Ballet Etude Academy in a family-friendly show with professional lighting and enchanting music.  East Idaho News
  • The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints invites visitors to attend 'The Living Christ' open houses that use guided tours with themed displays showing Christ’s life from His birth to resurrection; events start today in Blackfoot at 6pm—additional sessions will run in Firth on April 16-17, in Shelley on April 19-20, and in Idaho Falls on April 18-19.  Local News 8
