- ➤ Residents of Homestead Senior Living in Rexburg took a bus trip today to Shoshone Falls — known as the Niagara Falls of the West — where they shared stories and enjoyed a picnic lunch that brought back cherished memories. East Idaho News

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ During National Animal Control Officer Appreciation Week from March 14 to 18, the Rexburg police department honored Animal Control Officer Scott Chapman by delivering cookies and sweets at the shelter—actions that recognized his hard work and compassion. Earlier Thursday, the shelter learned of a hoarding case in Ogden, Utah with 152 dogs needing foster care and offered to take some to help the animals—an effort to support a challenging situation.
