CULTURE NEWS

  • A traveling replica of the Declaration of Independence stopped at Madison Library District Tuesday as Rexburg residents added their signatures in support of America 250 — a statewide initiative to collect 250,000 signatures and acts of kindness before the artifact moves to permanent display at the State Capitol in Boise.  Local News 8

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Idaho Fish and Game will host its annual Youth Outdoor Skills Day event on May 9 at Beaver Dick Park, giving local youth a chance to build outdoor skills. The event is set to run in a family-friendly environment.  Rexburg Standard Journal

SPORTS NEWS

  • Noah Coughlan is running 5,500 miles coast-to-coast to honor America's upcoming 250th birthday and has passed the halfway point in Idaho today (support from local families and law enforcement). He will run toward Boise and finish his journey in Hawaii on July 4.  Local News 8
  • The South Shore Kings defeated the Grand Junction River Hawks 3-1 on Monday night during game one of the 2026 Dineen Cup finals at Mountain America Center (Idaho Falls). The teams met in a championship game on Tuesday, April 28 at 7:00 p.m.  BYU-Idaho Scroll
