➤ Idaho State Police identified truck driver Isaiah Moreno as the 25-year-old fatally injured in a fiery Island Park crash on May 1, with three van occupants flown to hospitals and others taken by ground ambulance while officials verified details and notified families — emergency crews managed the scene and the highway has reopened. ➤ Seven people died in a fiery crash near Henrys Lake in Island Park on Thursday evening— a Dodge Ram and a Mercedes van caught fire after colliding on U.S. Highway 20— and the highway remains closed as investigators work at the scene. KSL
➤ A 26-year-old BYU-Idaho student was critically injured when 12—15 heavy steel beams collapsed on him in the storage room of the Mark Austin Building on Wednesday morning, and Rexburg emergency teams and police swiftly responded before he was taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. KSL
