The Idaho Transportation Department began exploratory drilling and pavement improvements along U.S. 20 from Idaho Falls to Rigby and north of Rexburg on Monday — drivers can expect temporary exit closures and traffic cones during daylight hours over the next two weeks.

Contractors are collecting data for a potential highway widening and will complete ramp work on Exits 337, 338, and 339 in two weeks.
