- ➤ Madison County Sheriff's deputies and firefighters responded to a trailer fire near Archer on May 7, closing 9000 South (between 400 West and 900 East) at 10 a.m. and reporting the fire started at 9 a.m. with no one inside. East Idaho News

- ➤ Rexburg businessman Braden Smith launched Drone Spray Pro last month to help farmers crop dust using drones—Black Rock Farms in Jerome is one key client and he now receives calls from out-of-state after Elon Musk shared his post. He is hosting a demo day in the field east of the Rexburg Temple on May 31 at 12:00 p.m. to show locals how the drones work and also sells various brands while offering FAA certification support. - ➤ Talmage Martindale, a 24-year-old auto detailer, now runs Tal’s Auto Spa Detailing from a permanent storefront at 229 South 5th West, Suite 300 in Rexburg after offering mobile services for three years. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Idaho Transportation Department began exploratory drilling and pavement improvements along U.S. 20 from Idaho Falls to Rigby and north of Rexburg on Monday — drivers can expect temporary exit closures and traffic cones during daylight hours over the next two weeks.
