  • BYU-Idaho student Israel Garcia was injured last Wednesday in an industrial accident at the Mark Austin building when metal beams crushed him and damaged his brain stem, and he is now awake and moving his arms and legs—his condition stays critical at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.  BYU-Idaho Scroll
  • BYU-Idaho student Israel Garcia was critically injured on April 30 when a stack of heavy steel beams collapsed in the Mark Austin Building and he was rushed to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center—he now shows improvements by sitting up and moving his limbs while his family praises his miraculous recovery.  East Idaho News
