- ➤ Rexburg Pride will take place at Porter Park on Saturday, June 21 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. with Namaste Nook hosting family-friendly activities that include local performances, vendors, and a unity walk—organized with city support and Griffin Elite Security to ensure safety for all participants. - ➤ Curry Pizza held its ribbon cutting with the Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday — the event marked an important milestone for the local business. Rexburg Standard Journal
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A 45-year-old local man pleaded guilty to illegally killing a deer and received four years probation plus 60 days in jail for driving with a suspended license — his sentence also includes community service, fines and a 10-year hunting license suspension. KSL
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ BYU-Idaho's physics department will host AstroFest on June 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Romney building and on the Spori Quad—attendees will learn about the Artemis mission with planetarium shows, robotics, a meteorite dig, and other space-themed activities while enjoying free entry and kid-friendly events.
