Here's your local news at a glance for Wednesday, the 17th of June.
Good morning, Rexburg.
🎓 Education
BYUI student Eliza Hansbrow learned Saturday that her family’s reptile business sold the last hundred geckos, ending gecko breeding and shifting focus to frog care.
She is studying accounting at BYUI and will help manage Gecko Daddy’s future plans, including an educational space.
🏈 Sports
BYUI campus recreation revived ice hockey since 2011 by launching a program in May at The Neutral Zone (an indoor rink now run by the city).
The prep groups meet Wednesdays from 9:15 p.m. to 11 p.m., with a women's night on June 23 open to all skill levels.
