  • Rexburg Police hosted a special needs lunch at Potter Park where dozens enjoyed hot dogs, golf cart rides, and a chance to drive a Segway—an event that builds stronger bonds between officers and the community. CRIME NEWS

  • Authorities arrested 34-year-old Daytona Travis on Tuesday after a coordinated investigation into a Monday stabbing at Beaver Dick Park near 6000 West and Highway 33—first responders treated a female victim at Madison Health for non-life-threatening injuries, and Travis faces charges of aggravated battery and second-degree kidnapping.  BYU-Idaho Scroll
  • Authorities responded to a stabbing near an intersection on Sunday at about 6 p.m. in Madison County and made an arrest in connection with the incident.  Rexburg Standard Journal

CULTURE NEWS

  • Starting June 27, the Rexburg Community Theatre will present Mary Poppins at Madison High School at 7 p.m., with additional shows on June 28 and 30. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • ITD crews closed Exit 333 Tuesday night to prep for Rexburg’s new overhead road signs and will install them between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. today while one lane on the off-ramps stays closed, which may delay drivers by up to 15 minutes—this work marks the final step in finishing the exit improvements.  Local News 8
