➤ Prosecutors announced they will not seek the death penalty for T.J. Wilson, 33, and Ryler Jensen, 28, who face first-degree murder and conspiracy charges for a 2021 home invasion that killed Ralph Brian in Rexburg—both suspects pleaded not guilty and are set for separate weeklong jury trials in November while key suspect Pierre Lake already pleaded guilty and received a sentence of 30 years to life. ➤ Rexburg Police and Madison County Sheriff's Deputies rescued a woman early Friday at 1:16 a.m.—she was held hostage by a man threatening to kill her. Rexburg Standard Journal
