- ➤ Madison Fire Department and the Board of County Commissioners declared a temporary open fire ban in Madison County until September 30th. The ban prohibits all forms of open burning—campfires, bonfires, trash burning, agricultural burning and fireworks—and violators will face fines of $100 to $300. Local News 8
