🚧 Accidents
The Big Rock Fire has been blazing since Friday evening in Rexburg, and no major structures have been harmed, though containment remains undetermined (Central Fire District Chief Nic White said the blaze is still being monitored).

Gas prices in Idaho rose another six cents this week, with Rexburg registering $4.24 a gallon according to AAA.
The report noted that prices are now 82 cents higher than a year ago, as market factors and international supply issues have impacted fuel costs.

East Idaho saw its hottest July on record as Rexburg reached 101 degrees on July 12 and early August brought new record highs in Rexburg and nearby towns.
Three heat-related deaths have been reported and officials urge residents to stay hydrated amid wildfires and drought.
