Hamlet Homes donated a brand new trailer to Rexburg Soup Kitchen after founder David Merrill attended the company's ribbon cutting on Friday.
The donation is set to help the soup kitchen expand its services.
🎓 Education
The Religion Department announced five additional spots for the European Religious History Academic Tour—students with a current passport must apply soon as the tour departs Sept.
23 and returns Oct. 17 with all participants required on campus by Sept. 15.
🏛️ Government
St. Anthony Airport received a $355,000 state grant to fund planned upgrades that will improve its facilities—state officials say the funding demonstrates Idaho’s commitment to enhancing the airport’s services.
Due to low fuel moisture and humidity, the Madison Fire Department and County Commissioners put a burn ban in effect in Madison County from August 1 until September 30, and violators will face a misdemeanor and a $100—$300 fine.
