GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ City leaders in Rexburg are proposing a 4-year bond of $22,589,638 to fund a new police station and training facility on a 5-acre field near Pioneer Road—if approved, construction will start next spring and finish in fall 2027. Voters will decide on the measure on November 4. East Idaho News
- ➤ On Monday, candidate filings for city council were very low at the Madison—Fremont county courthouses, and Upper Valley residents now plan to campaign for the seats ahead of the election. Rexburg Standard Journal
