Construction workers began excavating with three backhoes along Rexburg's University Blvd + Yellowstone Highway on Tuesday while a young family observed, though officials have not yet revealed the planned building details.

Idaho’s Liberty Bell replica was on display Wednesday at the Museum of Henry’s Fork as part of the America250 celebration and will tour all 44 counties.

Museum official Thomas Howell explained (the Bell was welded to fix its crack) after visitors asked about it.

The Rexburg Urban Renewal Agency (URA) is selling the old seminary building at 30 North 1st West for a starting bid of $625,000 and accepting proposals until Sept 14 as groups explore ways to restore this historic structure; the bid reflects its original purchase price and renovation costs.
