- ➤ Brigham Young University-Idaho welcomed a record 6,500 new students for the Fall semester, including about 5,500 first-time freshmen, breaking its previous record of 4,900 freshmen in Fall 2020—this milestone comes as the university celebrated 25 years since transitioning from Ricks College.
