ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Four-year-old Carter Grover, who had nearly recovered from an earlier paralysis from a virus, was injured when his grandmother Laurie Peterson crashed on Salem Road while driving him to therapy on Sept. 22 — the accident caused a tear in Carter’s spinal cord, leaving him paralyzed from the neck down and resulting in serious injuries for his grandmother with six people taken to the hospital. - ➤ Grace Kazmierski, a computer science senior, and her team developed RexRide—an app that lets students post rides and verify drivers using DMV records. The app will launch between late September and early October for Samsung and Apple users, and testing is being held at the Manwaring Center. BYU-Idaho Scroll
