➤ BYUI students Avery West and Sophie Hathon from Michigan said they were shocked by a Sept. 28 church shooting in Grand Blanc where a gunman drove a truck into a building, killing four and injuring several—West said her parents’ ward was canceled while Hathon noted she felt the loss of a close community.
