- ➤ The Rexburg Historical Society is working with the city to explore turning the old pumphouse at 2nd East and 1st South into a visitors’ center for local history. Mayor Jerry Merrill said the building—originally used for landscaping storage for over 60 years—will need expensive repairs while the city searches for its owner before the project can be completed within a year.
