- ➤ BYU-Idaho’s Spirit Week rodeo took place on Oct. 8 at the Madison County Fairgrounds and drew many students to see equestrian stunts and local acts. - ➤ Austin and Jennifer Tanner from St. Anthony launched A2T2 Bin Cleaning Pros last month as a side business to save for retirement—using a trailer with heated water to clean garbage cans. They plan to serve areas from Teton to Rigby and aim to expand into Ammon and Idaho Falls while offering a fall special for new customers. East Idaho News

- ➤ BYU–Idaho Spirit Week was held last week to mark 25 years since the school changed from Ricks College to a four-year university. The week included events—such as service night, a live memorial broadcast, carnival, parade and gala—that brought together students, alumni and professors to celebrate school growth, faith and community. - ➤ At its annual pre-professional conference in the Gordon B. Hinckley Building, the English department invited BYUI alumna Liz Lowham—an award-winning young adult author—to advise aspiring writers on writing authentically and focusing on character, sharing lessons from her recent novel Sonnet and Snakes released on Oct 7.
