Good morning, Rexburg.
🏘️ Community
Hemming Village is hosting its annual Hocus Pocus event with a new superhero theme — employees will dress as characters like Batman, Superman, and Baymax while offering candy, a rock wall, and face painting for families.
The free event runs on Oct. 30 from 4 to 7 p.m. and the Halloween decorations will be up until early November.
🎓 Education
Madison Junior High Orchestra was invited to perform at Lincoln Center in New York City in April following their Carnegie Hall appearance last year, and high rental fees for cellos + basses have raised concerns.
The orchestra is hosting a Halloween fundraiser at Madison Junior High School auditorium this Thursday at 7 p.m. to cover travel and instrument costs + support future shows.
