Good morning, Rexburg.

The Rexburg Tabernacle Orchestra will offer a free concert featuring movie scores from films such as E.T. and West Side Story at the Rexburg Tabernacle (51 N Center St) on November 6 at 7:30 p.m.

Ongoing construction on West 1st South and South 1st West in Rexburg has delayed road, curb, and gutter rebuilds—Public Works Director Keith Davidson said no new finish date was set after weather pushed the project past its planned Oct 20 completion.

The work has forced students and residents to navigate hazardous routes and cost local businesses like Gracie’s Car Wash up to 85% of their student traffic.

A commercial sign on 2nd East has caught Rexburg residents’ attention as Smith Robinson Signature Group Real Estate asks for help bringing In-N-Out Burger to town — the sign also promotes available retail and restaurant spaces and notes that the burger chain has not committed to opening a location.
