Here's your local news at a glance for Saturday, the 8th of November.
Good morning, Rexburg.
🎭 Culture
A group of five BYUI students accidentally formed a band called Public Domain when a casual jam session in an apartment drew a crowd including someone in a dinosaur costume.
They played their first gig at a campus clubhouse in fall 2024 and will perform again later this month—continuing their journey as a local music favorite.
🎓 Education
At BYUI, music shapes lives as students and staff say that playing and arranging hymns brings peace and spiritual connection.
Nathan Meyers, a junior who once sought quiet in a cramped laundry room, now produces a worship album to help others feel closer to God.
