- ➤ The Giving Machine celebrating the Light the World campaign opened Monday at noon in Hemming Village and remains available until December 14th for donations to five local charities—city lead Brett Crandall noted this is one of three locations hosting the machine during the season. - ➤ Beth Vanderwalker and her husband Justin are partnering with Rexburg Soup Kitchen to provide Christmas breakfasts during the holidays—supporting local residents with a nutritious start to their day. - ➤ The Light the World Giving Machines officially opened in Rexburg yesterday when local leaders joined a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the lobby of Hemming Village. The three machines offer a way to donate to local and global charities until Dec. 14 in Rexburg before moving to Grand Teton Mall, with 100% of donations going directly to selected charities — accepting items like toys, hygiene kits, and meals.
