- ➤ Alia Anderson, a senior in BYU–Idaho’s nursing program, hosted a booth at Hyrum Manwaring Student Center Dec. 2–4 from 9 a.m.+ 11 a.m. to let students assemble care packages and write messages for cancer patients at Madison Memorial and Huntsman, promoting local health awareness. - ➤ BYUI students have started a holiday tradition by cutting down their own Christmas trees using a 15-dollar permit in designated public lands (Targhee and Caribou zones in Madison County). The tradition brings friends together and sparks joyful memories during the season. BYU-Idaho Scroll

- ➤ A local church and the Shoshone Nation returned a sacred rock to its original location, preserving petroglyphs made by Fremont people (ancestors of the Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation) around 1,200 years ago. Rexburg Standard Journal
